Overview

The current bullet shows responsibilities but not the scale of the work or what changed because of it; sociologist roles often screen for methodological credibility (sample sizes, design, analysis) and decision impact.

If you do not have outcome numbers, add process metrics (enrollment, completion, response rate) and what leaders did with the recommendations.
"Improved service delivery" is hard to validate and reads as generic; adding evaluation approach (logic model, quasi-experimental, descriptive) and measurable effects strengthens credibility.

Clarify interview volume, sampling, and analytic approach. Example: "Conducted 30 semi-structured interviews (purposive sample of renters/homeowners); developed codebook, achieved 0.78 inter-coder agreement with a second coder, and synthesized 5 themes linked to social cohesion theory."
For qualitative sociology, reviewers look for sampling logic and analytic rigor; "summarized themes" and "faculty review" undersell the work and leave scope unclear.

Make publications/contributions specific and outcomes-based. If still in revision, name the venue or target journal and your exact contribution.
"In revision" and "assisted" are fine, but without authorship position, venues, and contributions, the bullet does not differentiate you from other candidates.

Tighten and organize skills into method-first categories and remove generic items. Example: "Methods: survey design (Qualtrics), sampling, focus groups, semi-structured interviews, thematic analysis, multivariate regression. Tools: R (tidyverse), Stata, NVivo, Excel." Consider dropping broad soft skills like "stakeholder management" unless tied to a deliverable elsewhere.
A long, mixed skills list can look unfocused; grouping and specifying tools/libraries signals proficiency and makes it easier for ATS and hiring managers to scan.
